While I'm not saying TouchWiz is or isn't working properly (works fine on my S5), What your basically saying is if I make any corrections to the default settings of my phone I must be having issues and needing to make workarounds to compensate for them. That's not semantics, those are facts.Īll I want is for the answer swipe to work.Interesting that if options are given they are considered workarounds. Using another feature to compensate is a workaround by definition. Swipe to answer is flakey and not working consistantly as it should for me and several other people here. In my previous post I should have said "I wouldn't need a workaround" instead of "you", so I apologize for that.Īll I want is for the answer swipe to work. For you it may be personal preference to use the home button, but to say I should do that is a workaround for the swipe not working. ![]() The swipe still works, it is not disabled.No. Using the phone's builtin setup menus to use the Home Key to answer the phone is NOT a work around, it is a feature that Samsung put there to use if you choose to. ![]() It worked for me every time, but I work with gloves on and the button is easier to get to that way. You are getting into semantics and heavy personal preferences. Never has the Home Key answered my phone taking it out of my pocket.
